Garmin GPSMAP 743xsv

The Garmin GPSMAP 743xsv is a 7-inch keyed chartplotter with built-in traditional CHIRP, ClearVü, and SideVü sonar plus networking for serious coastal and Gulf boats that have outgrown a basic fishfinder. Preloaded mapping and a bright display make it a solid mid-size MFD when you want Garmin Marine Network room to grow.

Compared with our ECHOMAP UHD2 coastal kits, GPSMAP leans harder into networking, optional radar, and long-term expansion. If you are still choosing a first coastal plotter with bundled UHD transducers and Navionics+ coastal charts in one box, start with the ECHOMAP UHD2 74sv. Choose the 743xsv when the console needs GPSMAP features and sonar in one glass.

Transducer sold separately on typical GPSMAP xsv configs. Plan the sonar and chart cards that match how you fish the Gulf and ICW.
